Also unique to EUREKA is that the incoming cold water passes in contra flow with the hot refrigerant flowing through the outer tube and is heated. The refrigerant is partially or fully condensed as the water flows, by natural thermo dynamic action, through the superheat region of the refrigerant which causes it to be heated 5°-7°C above condensing temperature before entering the top of the insulated buffer cylinder where it is stored until required. The hot water does not mix with the cold water in the cylinder. Thus the user is provided with a supply of sufficiently hot water, e.g. at 55°C based on a condensing temperature of 48°C, within a few minutes of the refrigeration plant operating.
The unique EUREKA process not only heats your water at no cost, but also saves electricity normally used to cool the refrigerant, thus increasing the financial savings and significantly extending the life of your refrigeration plant due to the lower running loads.
The Eureka Systems are built to specification ensuring optimum compatibility and performance. With over 400 different system combinations for both water and space heating we tailor each system to client specific needs resulting in payback normally between 18 and 36 months and often even lower.
The German made Eureka heat recovery systems have been manufactured and now perfected since 1967 and are therefore tried and tested with the added advantage that there are no moving parts giving you a most reliable product with minimal and easy maintenance required with a 5 year guarantee.
Eureka Heat Recovery systems will give the South African industry something unique which is not available from the competition, further strengthening the position of South Africa in today’s competitive international marketplace and drastically improving our overall carbon footprint.
Using Eureka’s award-winning products, commercial sites can reduce their carbon footprint, whilst turning waste heat into profit.
