Africa seems to be a whirlwind of Renewable Energy Summits – Lagos, Addis Abba and Cape Town are all moving and shaking like the South Easter with delegates from all over the world descending on these cities to discuss the future of this planet and the utilization of its natural resources.
The Powering Africa Summit 2013 taking place next week from Tuesday, 26 and Wednesday, 27 November 2013 at The One & Only Resort, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town is: “Turning Ideas into practice and words into actions”.
The Powering Africa Summit focuses on addressing the challenges facing regions and aims to address, provide solutions and discuss vital issues facing Governments and National Utilities from across Southern Africa.
Through direct interaction these key delegates will be able to provide solutions that will ensure National Energy Plans are not only highlighted but more importantly achieved.
Mr Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, a Member of the Management Board at Nordex SE and Chief Customer Officer responsible for Project Development, Project Management, Service, Health and Safety; and Sales and Marketing will be attending the Powering Africa Summit conference and participating in the panel discussions. With an international track record, Mr Krogsgaard possesses extensive management experience in the energy industry. He served as Head of European Operations at Siemens Wind Power A/S until 20 June 2010.
