Solar PV Operations and Maintenance **NEW COURSE**
All courses are facilitated by Senior Engineers who work daily on major projects this field for medium to JSE listed companies in Southern Africa.
Solar PV Feasibility Assessment
The Solar PV Feasibility Assessment will show you how to conduct a feasibility study for residential and commercial solar PV solutions, including how to get initial costing and energy yields using modelling software and climate data. The course is ideal for persons who are new to the Solar PV industry, and to those wanting to consult with clients on their Solar PV projects. It also creates the best foundation for Solar PV installations, as it fully covers all solar PV components, and different solar PV modules. Qualifying members can earn 3 CPD points through SAIEE (South African Institute of Electrical Engineers). This course is also accredited and recognized by CIWEM (Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management).
Duration: 3 days

Solar PV Installation
The Solar PV Installation course will cover all aspects of installing Solar PV, including Health and Safety, construction and installation, and commissioning. The course will also cover typical tests that need to be conducted when commissioning a solar PV plant, and which documents need to be included when handing over a functioning plant. Qualifying members will earn 2 CPD points through SAIEE.

Solar PV Operations and Maintenance **NEW COURSE**
The Solar PV Operations and Maintenance course will allow you to gain the knowledge and skills to ensure continuous energy yield and optimal performance of a solar PV plant. Areas of focus include source of faults and failure modes, inverters, combiner boxes, mounting systems and wiring. The course addresses the mechanical and electrical needs of the power plant as well as maintenance of the grounds/roofs and communication systems.
Duration: 3 days
Course Fee: R9 200 incl. VAT
Final course date for 2018: Johannesburg | 27 – 29 November
