Terra Firma Academy is offering Solar PV courses in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban!
Our course facilitator, Justin Dekker, is one of the founding members of Terra Firma Solutions, and a Senior Engineer who has been involved in various energy projects for medium to JSE listed companies across South Africa.
SOLAR PV FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT: Conduct a feasibility study for residential and commercial solar PV solutions, including how to get initial costing and energy yields using modelling software and climate data. This SETA approved course duration is 3 days at a cost of R10 032 incl. VAT. Qualifying members will also earn 3 CPD points through SAIEE!

Cape Town: 12 - 14 June 2018
Durban: 31 July - 2 August 2018
SOLAR PV INSTALLATION: This 2 day course will show the learner the typical tools and systems required for an installation, and will demonstrate how the various components of a solar PV plant are installed. Course cost is R6 555 incl. VAT, and qualifying members will receive 2 CPD points through SAIEE!

SOLAR PV OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE: This course will focus on potential issues and how to develop procedures for dealing with them in the most efficient and cost effective way. Learners will gain an understanding on the maintenance of a PV plant, which is essential to maximise both energy yield and the plant's useful life.
