Working with you as an intern would help me to building a successful  career since I have recently completed a Bsc Environmental and Resource Studies. I am always open to new challenges and that I realise that I have much to learn to become a successful  individual. Lastly, if granted this opportunity, I see it as a step up to fast-track my career. My record of achievements demonstrates attributes that make me a valuable candidate.I am a hard worker, who embodies discipline and ethical conduct. I value honesty, integrity and punctuality these are traits required for a prospective employee at your company. In addition, I am a high performer with fair academic results. I would say that the one feature that sets me apart from the rest is my ability to be eloquent and a critical thinker. I grasp complex concepts with ease and have the ability to recall vast amounts of information. I have first-rate communication skills, be it orally or written, as I can articulate my thoughts coherently. Furthermore, I am able to work effectively alone, as well in a group and work under pressure, and still deliver work of a high standard.

I have proven leadership qualities; as I have held a position of responsibility. Namely, that I was the President for the Student Representative Council. Additionally, I am also involved in extra curricula activities, as I was a member of the Environmental Student Association at university. In the recent past I did debating, despite all these activities I have maintained a normal academic average.

I have done 36 modules, these modules include plant biology, english language skills for professionals, English academic writing skills for professionals, introduction to the physical environment, introduction to human geography, cartographic techniques and elementary surveying, regional studies, air photo reading and interpretation, botany, geomorphology, remote sensing, GIS, disease ecology, demorgraphic studies, quantitative techniques, economic geography, climatology, water treatment processes and technology, environmental resource management planning, tourism studies, natural resource ecology, solid waste management, settlement geography, impact studies (EIA)  and soil analysis.

My studies have assisted me in gaining relevant technical skills in testing and monitoring environmental quality and provided an understanding of contaminant for the general protection of human health. Course field trips for a conservation research project has also added to my abilities to collect and record data for analysis and increase my knowledge of the current issues, policies and legislation of Natural Environmental Management Act. My skills in units requiring scientific report writing skills have highlighted the importance I place on being methodological accurate and complying with regulatory standards.

Thank you for your time and consideration.I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my key skill areas and interest in your company further at an interview and can be contacted anytime.
