The KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition (KITE) is undoubtedly the go-to event for local industry in KZN. 2015 saw over 5000 visitors from a number of market sectors flock to interact with the 110+ exhibitors, seeking new technology and service solutions.

With a track record that spans almost 33 years, KITE has established a niche as the region’s largest industrial technology equipment exhibition. The biennial event is an interactive platform from which best practice, cutting-edge technology has seen the light of day.

Visitor surveys conducted over the years indicate the primary reason visitors attend KITE is to source and purchase industrial technology solutions. The ability of the exhibition to provide a forum for active discussion between exhibitors and visitors is one of the key elements in the show’s success.

Hosted at Durban exhibition Centre in Durban, from 26 to 28 July, KITE 2017 is set to continue in the tradition of past shows and with only 20% of the planned stand space available now, it is important that companies interested in exhibiting at the event do so as quickly as possible.

Visitor attractions at KITE 2017 will include the Propak Pavilion, the SAIMechE Seminar Theatre, the MESA Special Interest Group entitled Digital Revolution – Man and/or Machine Rules? and the Lifting Equipment Association of South Africa (LEEASA) conference.

SAAEA stands firmly behind KITE. As a confirmed exhibition partner, we believe that this is an event at which all industrial technology equipment manufacturers and suppliers should have a presence. We encourage our members to leverage the extensive proactive marketing campaign initiated by Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery. Commencing in August 2015, this campaign runs until after the 2017 event and includes social media platform posts, regular updates on the KITE website, print and online advertising, street banners, radio advertising, personalised media liaison, targeted press releases sent to the horizontal and vertical media, as well as extensive previews and reviews in each of the official media partner publications.

To reserve a stand, interested companies should contact Loftie Eaton or Mark Anderson on +27 41 585 8274 or +27 10 003 3063 or email loftiee@specialised.com or marka@specialised.com.
