The position is to be based between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland. Most of our existing team live on the Gold Coast and it is a short commute to the office. The Gold Coast offers a tremendous lifestyle and amenities and is less than an hours drive from Queensland's capital Brisbane.
Note the role will involve infrequent travel within all states in Australia.
The role will have an experienced engine Maintenance and Operations Manager reporting to it and will also involve the establishment and maintenance of relationships with a group of preferred external suppliers of specialist skills relevant to our operations.
10-15 years experience managing a portfolio of power generation assets.
Preference given to prior biogas experience, however exposure to diesel power generation encouraged to apply.
Have experience with genset installation & commissioningPrior exposure to grid interconnections highly valued.
Experience with biogas handling & processing highly valued.
Well developed safety management & safety leadership skills.
Proven ability to manage team members.
Spares/Inventory planning & management.
Service & maintenance recording & planning systems.
We are seeking someone who is reasonably senior, demonstrates initiative and leadership and will drive outcomes rather than wait for instructions. We would also consider someone from a manufacturing or production background who has a history of achieving high levels of capacity utilisation from production assets.
