South Africa’s draft Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) revision (Update report 2013) is out for review. A significant development is the proposed increase in CSP capacity from the initial 1200 MW to 3300 MW.
CSP industry players are advocating increased CSP megawatt allocation to achieve economies of scale, and it is expected that the possible increase in CSP will be a welcome development.
