Enquiry received from a member growing miscanthus in Southern Africa.....
"I am looking for a SOUTH AFRICAN made machine that can make biochar from Miscanthus.
We are simply asking for equipment that can produce a higher percentage of biochar versus oil or syngas.
The ideal pyrolysis unit would have the capability to reduce syngas production and increase biochar production to say 75% biochar, 25% syngas/oil. 2 Ton per hour system.
And no syngas is also fine."
