CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR PERSONS TO 
SERVE ON A MINISTERIAL ADVISORY COUNCIL 
In terms of Section 7 of the National Energy Council Act, 1991 (Act 95 of 1991), the 
Minister of Energy, Ms Tina Joemat-Pettersson, MP, hereby extends an invitation to all 
interested parties and sectors operating within the Energy sector to nominate suitable 
candidates for appointment to an Advisory Council.
The Council will be an advisory body, advising the Minister on any matter referred to it.
The Minister wishes to appoint persons with relevant knowledge and experience, 
drawn from academia, the private sector and civil society as well as with expertise in 
at least one of the Energy related sub-sectors.
