Basic Solar Training - South Africa

With the focus on Solar energy becoming more evident in South Africa, there is a risk for the uneducated creating false perceptions about this amazing technology.

We can now provide basic solar training to understand more about the technology.

The Modules will include:
 Understanding Ohms Law
 Construction of a battery
 Different Types of batteries (pros and cons)
 Battery chargers (Different Types)
 How to calculate the best charger

 Types of inverters
 How to calculate a back-up system

 Charge controllers
 What is a hybrid Solar System
 How to calculate a Hybrid System
 What is an off-grid system
 How to calculate an off-grid system
 What is a Grid-tie system
 How to calculate a Grid-tie system

The Training will consist of two sessions. Each sessions will be one hour.

 Cost is tax deductible
 Record of the training will count toward skills development as well as BEE rating
